- Trisodium Phosphate is commonly used in cleaning agents and detergents, water softeners, textiles, papers, photography, paint removers, food additives, dietary supplements, and as an emulsifier.-This additive is frequently used for laundry detergents and cleaning applications because of its powerful degreasing properties.
