Uses: Boric acid is one of the most commonly produced borates and is widely used throughout the world as a flame retardant, in the manufacture of glass and fiberglass, and in the production of wood preservatives to control pests and fungus.
Boric acid is also used to kill cockroaches, ants, fleas, termites, silverfish, beetles, wood borers and other parasites.
