To harden your clay quickly, you can dry air-dry clay in the oven. First, put your sculpture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, then put your sculpture in the oven (keep the oven door a crack wide open), and then heat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Again, it is important not to weigh down your sculpture because you don't want to flatten it.
